Happy Halloween!

Using my spooky noir filter.

World Premiere

Joey's composition, Shape Note Fantasy, was performed yesterday in a concert by Village Church Orchestra, Chamber Choir and William Jewell College Concert Choir in the church's Splendor and Light! concert. His compostion was amazing!

Here We Go A Haunting

My companions on our haunted tour of Leavenworth. A bit chilly but fun.

Pumpkin Monster

A more light-hearted creation by the Kansas City Art Institute students.

Artistic Pumpkin Carving

Just a few of the pumpkins carved by students at the Kansas City Art Institute. They were on display at the Crestwood Shops (55th and Brookside) as part of Carved. Except for the purple, the colors are created by the way they are carved.

Costumed Cousins

A motley group at the church Halloween party in 1993. Hayden was one of the youth sponsors.

Is This a Bargain?

I don't believe I would pay $19.94 (or anything) for dead mums. Perhaps they forgot to water.

A Sign of the Season

Tas has moved to the sun in the afternoon seeking warmth so I guess it's truly fall.

Hungry Pumpkin

I like the originality. He's eating a salad.

Beware the Spider

The Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art sports this guy on its front lawn. I think it's there year-round but it seems appropriate this time of year.

Meyer Is Back!

The Meyer Circle Sea Horse fountain is finally flowing again, after a 2-year hiatus. A private fundraising effort brought the 92-year-old fountain back to life after its electrical system, motor and underground pump room were ruined by flooding. Its return will be celebrated Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. with refreshments and musical entertainment.

Stacks of Jacks

Happy Birthday Morgan!

Hayden sharing in the festivities on the occasion of Morgan's 5th birthday.

Snow at the Top

Lots of snow capped peaks around Winter Park but fortunately none on us.

Cloud Art

Impressive clouds over Winter Park.
