Pushing A Piano

Adam and Colin were attempting to push the piano back to the choir room. Then someone came to the rescue. (Full disclosure, Joey was the one pushing it all along and they were hitching a ride.)

 

Foggi Ice Cream Creations

We watched them make ice cream using liquid nitrogen at a an ice cream and coffee shop in Mission. All ice cream is made in front of the customers. It's a very slow process but interesting.

Joey and Stacy took advantage of the props at the photo booth at our Cinco de Mayo celebration at church.
 

A Day at the Beach

Summer time and a great day for sand castles and moats at Lake Olathe Beach.

 

Eclipse Viewing

It wasn't as cool at the total eclipse but fun to experience. We even had cookies for the event.

 

Cookie Bakers

Lots of helpers to make our Valentine and Chiefs sugar cookies. Vala and Colin hard at work decorating.

Since it was Joey's birthday we took a break to wish him a happy birthday.

 

Christmas Thespians

Colin and Adam performed in their daycare Christmas program. Colin mostly stared but Adam embraced the moment. He even had a speaking part.

Big Party, Few Photos

We enjoyed Hayden and Matt's housewarming party for their newly refurbished home but apparently I didn't take any pictures of the house. Here's a few scenes from the festivities ending with sunset.

 

A Baptism

Adam helped put the holy water in the baptismal font for Colin's baptism. Colin received a quilt from the Colonial Church quiltmakers in honor of the occasion.

 

Singing and Santa

Adam and some of his classmates are preparing to sing "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" in his daycare Christmas program. It was delightful. Below, Santa snuck up on him.

 

Halloween Delight

Not everyone was enthusiastic about getting into costume but the two who did were cute enough to make up for the rest.

At Last

A birthday present from November 2019 finally realized. The girls gave Howard an outing at Top Golf but due to COVID, hadn't been able to make it happen until now. Joey (background) and Matt joined in the fun. I entertained Adam.

 

Now This Is Easter

So nice to have a family Easter again. And the weather couldn't have been better. Next year we'll add church.

No sit-down dinner but a family outdoor gathering to celebrate Howard's birthday and Vala's first Thanksgiving. Ending with a gorgeous sunset.
