Immersed in Art

Café Sebastienne at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art surrounds you in modern art while you dine. Some might consider it over stimulation but gives plenty of opportunity to check out the art.

Chocolate Art

A very realistic looking sculpture at Kemper Museum. The artist, Peter Anton, is known for his hyper-realistic food sculptures.

Fallen Paintings

The current exhibit by Polly Apfelbaum at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art  features these "floor works" (which look like rugs to the untrained eye). She calls them fallen paintings. I don't envy the docents who have to keep people from stepping on them since they take up much of the exhibit space.

Beware the Spider

The Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art sports this guy on its front lawn. I think it's there year-round but it seems appropriate this time of year.
