This fairy garden always looks so peaceful but when I walked by this time the furniture was tossed, although the fairy was continuing to swing. Probably a chipmunk destructo team.

Update Complete

We have new paint, new floor, new art and new sideboard. We love it!

Votes Cast

I dropped our absentee ballots in the bag at the Johnson County Arts and Heritage Center so we didn't have to rely on the Postal Service to get them to the election office on time. Although it looked like you could have voted safely in person but when we requested the ballots, we weren't sure that would be true.

A Summer Picnic

A picnic at Lake Shawnee in 1950. Mom, Dad and Steve are at the front. You can also see Vala and Ray Sr. and Helen, Roy and Chris Jensen. Susan must be nearby but she was a baby.

The post office I visited had a couple of these fun tiny post offices. The postman said someone gave them to the post office when they were cleaning out their home.

This view is from the public side of the fence so only someone in the yard behind the fence could frame themselves. But it's cute. It appeared early in the quarantine but I just had a chance to take a photo.

Fun without the Mess

Since Adam wants to eat the Play-Doh, we played with it without opening the containers. It worked for today. He has watched Lowell play so thought he should.
