Spoooooky!

I love the Halloween decorations popping up everywhere now.

Trick or Treat

Colin is all set to trick or treat at the community center. He was excited to be line leader.

He started roaring as a thank you because he got a lot of laughs.

Trick or Treat

Colin as Cookie Monster and Adam as Bumblebee, a transformer, were ready to trick or treat. For Trunk or Treat at Colin's daycare, Stacy created this cute trunk to match Colin.

Pumpkin Squatter

Stacy found a way to make the most of her pumpkin. 1980, Happy Halloween!

Mission Indoor Trick or Treat

Colin and I went to the indoor playground and found ourselves part of a costume parade and trick or treat at Powell Community Center. Since Colin was wearing his Batman shirt, it qualified as a costume and he led the parade. He also garnered lots of treats.

Spooktacular

It's October. Let the fun begin. These folks are full on Halloween.

Halloween Wrap Up

We didn't have the group together on this extremely cold Halloween but they all looked festive - A witch, mermaid, cat and Yoda.

Happy Halloween!

This guy is ready to party.

A Bumble Bee and a Mermaid

Once upon a time a bumble bee and a mermaid came to visit. At this posting, these are the costumes Lowell and Vala will wear for Halloween. But tomorrow, who knows?

Here's Looking at You

In an era of skeletons for decorating, these folks went with eyeballs.

Edible Spiders

I took this lovely butterfly to a Halloween party by Johnson County Parks and Rec. She made spider cookies, which she said made spiders much less scary.

Farmstead Frolicks

Deanna Rose Farmstead did not disappoint. With goats, tractors, a calming garden (Lowell's words) and Halloween, we were busy.

It takes two to get the tractors going.

Eyes On You

Spooky eyes with a photo bomb by Bruno.

Cross with Scare

A bit of Halloween crosswalk humor.

Hippie Halloween

Hayden, as part of youth group, helping with games. Kelly and Calvin are doing something with help from Scott. Below, you can see Hayden's full hippie costume (borrowing from my treasure trove) with Morgan.

Halloween 2022

This fabulous group of trick or treaters graced our home. The hedgehog was ready for a nap but the rest were raring to go. The weather was wonderful so they got their first taste of trick or treating door to door together.

Maleficent, Aurora and a Panda

That's what you see on Halloween. Stacy was Maleficent. Hayden was Sleeping Beauty and Morgan was a panda. 1987

Dressed for the Season

Colin and I were playing with candy corn lights and thought he looked quite festive.

What a Fright!

Entering Science City, you get to enjoy some impressive ghouls. Lowell wasn't alarmed by them, especially when she could enjoy the effects of black light on her.

Halloween En Pointe

These lovely ballerinas are dressed for the season.
