Day Care Halloween

"Princess Spooky" Lowell and her class paraded in the parking lot and "Cookie Monster" Adam participated in Trunk or Treat delights. Stacy made for a delightful pumpkin.

Adam and Vala were a bit young for this activity but with some help they at least marked on their pumpkins.

Open Air Living

Our sliding doors were being repaired so we had no wall for a couple of hours. It was chilly but Vala was entertained. She had a few extra pairs of socks in case she got cold.
 

Study Time

Vala was enjoying reading time at the library.

 

Feel Good Fun

"Mr. Stinky Feet" performed at Colonial yesterday as a benefit concert for the medical costs accrued in his wife's breast cancer treatment. It was really a fun concert, especially after the Chiefs miserable outing. I look forward to taking my grandkids to one of his concerts soon, post COVID.

Pumpkin Patch Kids

We had a good time on our annual pumpkin patch outing. We were much later in the season and found the pumpkins more picked over but Lowell and Adam had fun in the patch none the less. Vala was a more reluctant participant.

 

Spot Color

We don't seem to be getting a full on colorful fall but some spots of color are finally appearing.
 

It Terrifies Me

If you are a fan of Stephen King's "It", you understand this Halloween decoration. I found it creepy enough before Howard explained the reference to the 1986 novel. There's a reason I don't read King's books. Happy Halloween!
 

So Much to Say

It would be interesting to know what Holly was telling Hayden, who looks skeptical. Morgan, Kelly and Frances are otherwise occupied.
 

Just Dropping By

Lighting the Night

We enjoyed a bonfire and s'mores with Adam and his parents. The Kerns were then going to sleep out in the tent for the night. He was super excited.

 

Double Celebration

We celebrated the birthdays of George and Morgan yesterday at Sunday lunch. Today is actually their birthdays. It was an extraordinary candle.

 

Unexpected Passenger

Freddy jumped into the wagon while I was pulling the girls around. Of course Patches had to come investigate.
