Now We Know

I wondered why we kept getting paint on our lawn and now we know ... utility work that has resulted in this large hole being dug in our front yard. I see they found lots of large rocks.

Always Alarming

When they come out and mark utilities – and draw orange lines – in your yard, it's concerning. We've had utilities working in our neighborhood for a few months but not sure what this is. I'm sure I won't like it if they are digging along here.

Home of the Season

Opportunities to be the neighborhood star are more limited now because you get to keep the designation for the season, not just for a month. Of course, that also means you can't just put all your effort into one month, since it would be embarrassing to win and then let your yard fade with the sign still stuck in your yard. Oh, the pressure.
