Raked into piles for the curbside vacuum pickup on Tuesday. Quite a bunch.

I believe the rain knocked down these ginkgo leaves along with many others but it was a nice showing.
 

Star Walk

It looked like I could follow the stars. I don't know if they landed this way or someone placed them.
 

Leaves Be Gone

We had mounds of leaves for our neighborhood leaf pickup. Glad they came through before the winds expected today. Lowell was demonstrating how high our leaf mountain was.

 

Half Paved

The leaves have paved about half the street. We'll see when the other half gets paved.

I don't know how this year rates on the colorful fall scale but I have seen some amazing trees.
 

All Fall Down

Rain brought many down but it was still colorful walking.

Lacy Summer

So many fallen leaves show this lacy pattern. Don't know if it's the intense heat or a pest. Makes for intricate patterns although I suspect it's bad for the trees.

They Wanted In

All these leaves rushed the gate but didn't get in. A windy day and you can't get out of the backyard. But Howard corralled them all and now the gate is easy to open.

Last Gasp

Between the wind and the plummeting temperatures, I fear these color pops will not be with us long.

They're Coming!

Not seeing full trees yet but the change has started!

A Red Carpet

The leaves made a lovely contrast on the stairs.

Getting Closer

It's better than "leafs clean up" but we still don't quite have it. "Clean up leaves" or "Leaf clean up." Let's not make this hard.

Colorful Canopy

I wasn't sure it would be very colorful this fall but suddenly color is busting out everywhere.

A Natural Touch

My jack-o-lantern at the front door is enhanced by the blowing leaves.
