National Championship Heart

This heart was part of the Kansas City parade of hearts and is inspired by KU's postgame celebration after the championship, according to artist Megh Knappenberger. It is signed by coaches and players on the championship team. The three of us also helped KU survive Oklahoma during the game last night.

Companion Trees

Or perhaps dueling trees. However it strikes you, you can bid on them at the Festival of Trees.

KU Booster

If only for a day. I thought the Jayhawks might need all the help they could get but they did all right. 😁

Looks Like a Jumble

But only at first glance. Takes the "A house divided" front plate I used to have and moves it to the back.

Super Fans

These kids wore this getup during the whole KU basketball game. Seemed cumbersome, and hot, to me. I admire their loyalty. KU won handily, 114-71 over Texas Southern.

Jayhawk Reunion

Enjoyed reconnecting with friends from my KU days. Too bad the football game wasn't as enjoyable.

Huddle Up

Jayhawks huddle during a game against Long Beach State at Allen Fieldhouse. We won 91-61. Love my new lens that makes these shots possible.

Diversity

Mizzou, Marquette, Notre Dame, KU - This house seems to have great diversity in collegiate loyalty.

Incognito

The Jayhawk for the KU Football Kickoff in Corinth was waiting for air. Very compact but he loomed large eventually.

Let's Go Jayhawks!

Hayden at the 1988 parade in Lawrence celebrating the national champion Jayhawks. Unlikely to happen this year but it's fun to look back.

Football Kickoff Rally

What you expect to see at a KU rally and ...

then there's the absurd.
