Lowell was offering me chalk to participate with her in the floor art at the Family Tree Cafe.

Serious Artists

Chalk the Walk OP was about spreading joy, optimism and inspiration through the magical power of sidewalk chalk. These young artists may not have written inspiring messages but they were spreading joy.

Tree Graffiti

It's chalk so shouldn't hurt the tree. I can't actually read what it says except "loves" so not effective. But the roots are colorful at this gloomy time of year.

Art Mixes with Baseball

The Royals-Blue Jays game contributed $5 from every ticket to the ArtsKC Fund. Various facets of the local art scene were on display, some like this in action. And let me say that the grand slam added a lot to the win!
