Back When We Were Grownups

Our good friends Steve and Anita gave us rocking chairs for the girls when they were born. Here Steve is holding two-week old Hayden, and I am trying to keep her in her new chair. Remembering Steve who died last week from complications of dementia.

 

Not a Fan

I love this photo of Hayden in the field on her first camping trip. Not sure why she is standing there crying but it speaks to her general feeling about camping, although she has been a good sport about it many times over.
