We Have Not Forgotten

Two columns of light to symbolize the twin towers were on display at the 9/11 Memorial in Overland Park last night. I remember a similar display when we were in New York in September 2006. On the far right of the photo you can see the edge of a beam from ground zero. A peaceful evening. Quiet groups of people were reading the names of the victims and examining the timeline of the attack.
