Marching for the Wildcats

Mom traveled to Topeka with me to see Stacy and the K-State band march at the playoff game between Washburn Rural and Junction City in 1998. I forget why K-State performed at a high school game but I think it had to do with someone the director knew. It was great because we could see the band members much better than in Manhattan but we still couldn't recognize Stacy because they all look alike in uniform marching on the field.

    We were "on tour" that weekend to KU (a very rainy game) and the Chiefs game although why Washburn Rural I'm not sure.

    I recall that now. We enjoyed the game we attended, even if we couldn't pick you out on the field.
