This photo dated December 1971 just says Steve and Scott rocket launch. It rather looks like the rocket launched into the ground. Like to know the story behind this. (Nice pants, Scott)
Sadly I don't remember this specific launch. Sadly I do remember those specific pants. They did not improve as I grew.
We may have been reading the instructions to determine which way to aim the rocket but I think we were trying to determine why the parachute had not deployed.
I remember painting the rocket and thinking it looked good but then again I thought the pants, coat, and hair looked good too.

ReplyDeleteThe pants can certainly be explained by it being the '70s. I had similar pants that I also thought looked really fine.
