Young Adults

We were quite young adults in October 1982. Not sure of the occasion. Hayden looks very tired.
 

Aerating Greens

Colin accompanied Pops on the golf course to see them aerating greens. He was most interested in the sand.

The Witch Flies Again

I love this decoration and the way she is suspended. Happy to see her return for another Halloween.
 

Go Chiefs

This neighborhood didn't simply dress up their statue (as many do) but added faces.
 

Midwest Princess

This mural, sponsored by the Pink Pony Club, recognizes Chappell Roan, who performed two sold-out performances on the lawn of the Liberty Memorial this weekend. Pink Pony Club is one of her award-winning songs. She is from Willard, MO so the concert here is exciting for local folks, especially in the LBGQT community.

Fun to see the Halloween decor popping up, especially when I am out early in the morning.

Colin wanted the King and Queen to be together. The pieces were heavier than he expected.
 

Candle Helpers

Many styles of helping Grandma blow out her candles. I think Frances is a cheerleader. Stacy is too far away to be effective. 1994
 

Lunch Date

I enjoyed lunch with Adam on Grandparents Day. We also visited the book fair.
 

Help the Rock Snake

Creative folks are everywhere. Here you can help Roeland the Rock Snake grow. Stacy said it has grown quite a bit since she first saw it.

 

Food Is Ready

Stacy and I helped serve the meal for the homeless in Mill Creek Park. We plated 128 meals. It was quite warm and we were staring straight into the sun but we were happy to help. The plastic gloves made our hands quite sweaty before we were done.
 

Fall Festivities

Fun in the corn pit at Family Tree, plus planting some plants (with a little digging in the dirt) and trying out a trumpet. She was teaching Adam to use his lips like he was spitting and he did get sound out of it.

Wild About Cheer

Vala and Lowell participated in the cheer clinic and then performed at halftime of the Eudora High School football game.
