| A segment of the southern branch of the Santa Fe Trail crosses Harmon Park in Prairie Village. It is one of the few confirmed places in Johnson County where physical evidence of the trail can be seen today. The swale was worn into the ground by thousands of cattle, oxen, and wagons. |
