Ukraine Hedgehog

Local artist and Marine veteran Joe Williams created this sculpture to show solidarity with the Ukrainian people during the Russian invasion. The Roeland Park City Council approved its temporary installation on Roe Boulevard and painted the city sign to match. Hedgehogs are being used on Ukrainian streets to stop Russian convoys.
