Decipher the DNA
The
exterior of the new Children's Mercy Research Institute spells
out DNA sequences of genetic anomalies found in Children’s Mercy
patients with specific, rare diseases. At night, the panels glow white
from LED lights, with four panels beaming red representing DNA mutations
discovered in Children’s Mercy patients. CMRI also is providing a
curriculum for middle and high school students to decipher the DNA
lights.
