Topher was challenging Susan to car races but he cheated because he started his car before he said go. Fun to see Topher and Erin with Susan.

Pizza on High

Adam was enjoying his pizza on the upper deck at his house. Great view up there.

Returning to the Wild

We feel our area is returning to the wild with foxes, possums, raccoons and now turkey vultures spotted. You'd think with all the pedestrians around we'd see less wild not more.

The Dusty Trail

Actually it was a dusty street as Vala and I took a walk on our first day of child care for the school year. Sleeping through the heat was the best choice.

Matt was instructing Howard on the particulars of their mower as he will be helping Hayden with mowing when Matt starts active duty next month.

Artist or Art Collector

I'm always intrigued by this home that has various sculptures in the yard and a row of Tiffany lamps in the window. I don't know if the homeowner is the artist or just a collector.

Another reminder of my grandmother's garden. Sweet pea seems to be flourishing this year.

Lowell and I discovered several mushrooms on our walk. She liked to touch them and watch them jiggle.

Staycation - '50s Style

A trip to Jefferson City in 1957. As Scott and Steve are missing I'm assuming Steve was the photographer and Scott was not yet born (or he's in the box on Mom's lap 😊).

Scott was disturbed by my reference to him and found in our home movies that he is indeed in the box, which turns out to be an infant seat. You can see from this screenshot that Steve was the photographer and Scott is visible on Mom's lap.

 

Surprise!

Each year it's a nice surprise when the lilies pop up, in this case amidst the peony bush.
