This tombstone and the one of her husband are mounted at Johnson Drive & Lamar, where a cemetery used to be. At some point, the land was rezoned to commercial and the remains were moved to Corinth Cemetery in Prairie Village. The headstones were left as a memorial to pioneers. Seems a bit odd. I shall have to go to Corinth to see what headstones they have now. Never know what you might learn when you stop to read those things you drive by frequently but ignore.

Cross Cemetery
