The Show Must Go On

Despite a rainy first half of the Overland Park Fall Festival, this puppet show drew a crowd. At least the weather, and the crowds, improved by the end of the afternoon.

It was a bit hard to walk down this sidewalk. Hopefully the tree folk were coming back to remove this debris.

Beginning to End

As you can see, this pot flourished, although one addition was required. Quite an improvement over the beginning of the season.

From a Discarded Pumpkin

This giant vine is headed down the ally behind Susan's house in Lawrence. It starts in her backyard where she believes a pumpkin was left last fall. It has lots of small pumpkins on it. I wouldn't get this kind of a vine if I planted the seeds.

Royals Win!

I had the fun of seeing the Royals win their last regular season home game with a walk-off Grand Slam by Justin Maxwell. It was worth waiting 10 innings.

Waiting for the Team

Beautiful night for the Plaza Art Fair. Before I left, the aisles were jammed with people.
