Legend says dogwoods were a mighty tree until one was used to make the cross for the crucifixion. Now they are small with a blossom in the form of a cross with a crown of thorns in the center. Makes a good story. I love their blossoms.

Bought my paper from a Rotary guy but no game tickets enclosed. Just as well with the weather and the loss. I had to stop at a green light to purchase my paper but no one behind me honked. Ever since Dad had to be out selling them, I have made a point to find a corner where they are selling.
