Old Santa

Seems fitting to close out the Christmas season with Santa. My Dad apparently lifted this from a hotel when he was in Miami for the Orange Bowl in 1948. It has adorned my parents house every year since. We have added the hat. He's showing his age.

The backroom of the "housewares department" operated by my church for the Cross-Lines Christmas Store. I worked helping stock and escorting clients through. Very rewarding.

We finally found our bricks in the pavement outside Union Station. It only took us a decade to ask and find them. Hayden's boots are framing the bricks.

Chili Champion

I won a spoon in the chili cook-off at Colonial's annual Advent festival. I was not the grand champion but recognition is good at any level.

Dance a Day

Mary Pinizzotto vowed to shoot a video of herself dancing everyday for a year. Dec. 4, she invited the public to participate in Day 357 of her year. Despite a brutal windchill, several folks showed up on the steps of the Liberty Memorial. I didn't linger - too cold for me.
