Great Balloon Glow

On our first adventure out into the event world, Howard and I took in the fun of the Great Balloon Glow put on by the World War I Museum. It was fantastic.

Hayden, Stacy and Howard surprised me with a celebration in Shawnee Mission Park. So great to see family after a year of quarantine!

Adam and I were able to get fairly close to these goslings but remembering how mean geese can be, we did not go closer.

I was greeted by this when I left for my early morning walk. What a fun way to start the day, thanks to my family. Adam was identifying the letters for me.

Bridal Veil

Bridal veil spirea looks particularly beautiful this year. Always reminds me of my birthday as we had bushes outside our front windows when I was growing up. I had many birthday photos in front of it.

Back in Church

Yesterday was the first day of in-person worship since March 2020. You can see that alternate rows are taped off and we are all wearing masks. No child care or Sunday school so Lowell used her time to create. Not ideal but it was a beginning.
