Cuteness Parade

Lowell's school paraded through the parking lot so we could enjoy all the cute kiddos. She was a gorgeous unicorn.

 

Little Pantry Helps Feed Community

This homeowner cared for her Little Free Library but then saw a need for food as the pandemic progressed so she added a second little - a pantry. I learned about it through NextDoor when she was seeking food for it because the food was disappearing so quickly. Now she has been featured on KSHB-41.

Vala and I braved cold and snow to get our walk in. She claimed she couldn't put her arms down.

One of many options for advance voting in Johnson County is this box at the library. There was even a line of socially distanced, mask-wearing voters at this box. Happy to have cast my vote. They collect the ballots from the boxes daily.

Drive-By Birthday Celebration

Since we couldn't gather to wish George Lafferty happy 4th birthday, Morgan arranged a drive-by celebration with 6 cars and balloons. Morgan gave treat bags to cars with kids. George is standing with his dad, sister Libby and Grandpa George.

The resident was out when we walked by and I said I hadn't seen a skeleton that large. She said they probably over did it but it looked cool.

Baptism, COVID Style

Vala Ray Ferguson was baptized yesterday in an empty church but at least we had family present. Below, Vala is modeling her dress - the same one worn by her mother and sister.

Adam and Lowell found the empty church to be a great playground - so much room.
