Worlds of Fun Orient Express in Miniature

An exhibit of former Worlds of Fun roller coasters at Union Station included the Orient Express, which I remember specifically because I was convinced to go on it once. The whole upside down thing did not sit well with me. Inside the exhibit is Randal Strong-Wallace, who built the models, making some repairs. The Orient Express operated from 1980 to 2003, when maintenance apparently became too expensive. Also in the exhibit are operating scale models of Screamroller, Schussboomer, Zambezi Zinger and Silly Serpent.

  1. And we all know who ran the Screamroller during the beautiful summer of '78.

Please stand well behind the yellow line while waiting for the train to enter the station. Once the train has entered the station, please step quickly into the car pulling the harness down over your head. Thank you and have a good day.

    Still poetry.

  2. I couldn't remember which one you worked but I knew it was one of your favorite jobs of all times. :)
