Round Hill at Dusk

Round Hill Bath and Tennis Club occupies a barn built of cypress wood in the early 1930s by a lumberman for storage. It was sold to developers in 1958 who used one of the surrounding cottages for an office initially. To encourage area interest, the developer offered the barn and land for the purpose of organizing a social club and then loaned the homeowners money to build a pool and two tennis courts. It remains as a central focus in the neighborhood today.

The reddish tile from the original sanctuary at my church was uncovered in the renovation of the area for a chapel/choir room. A trip down memory lane for me as I recall many a Sunday looking at that floor.

Floral Arrangement from a Wedding

A bouquet left from a wedding extravaganza. Very pretty. Made me wonder what flowers they used throughout as I understand it was quite a large wedding, including a Chorale and a three piece orchestra.
