Rosedale Arch
Inspired by the Arc de Triomphe, the Rosedale Arch in Kansas City, KS, was built in 1924 to honor Rosdale residents who served in the Rainbow Division during World War I. The site has been allowed to deteriorate over the years but the view (below) of the Kansas City skyline from it remains exquisite. The arch itself is very visible from I-35.

A Bowtie and a Dog
Lenny (brown and furry and held by Grace) enjoyed the graduation party too. Calvin, with the bowtie, is the graduate. BTW, the tie is the real deal - he taught himself to tie it for graduation.

Janssen Place
The entry to Janssen Place, a boulevard of beautiful early 20th century homes built by lumber barons in Kansas City. Oddly, the homes are massive stone places but perhaps have beautiful wood interiors.

Car of Many Identities
This hybrid seemed to be created from parts of numerous models including Studebaker, Trans Am, Camaro, etc. The license plate was Guess. Apparently the owner is used to the curiosity.
