Wheel of Fortune
Unfortunately I couldn't get the photo because you can see the missing letters, but from a distance it looked funny as missou rib nk. Use your imagination.

Seems Obvious
Since the pool is about 18 inches deep, I wouldn't think this would be a big problem. I have watched folks ice skate on it this winter. It just seemed funny that this was a permanent sign.

Spring Surprise!
Actually, not so much of a surprise. But happy first day of spring, and the end of winter 2010. May it rest in peace.

Cup Cuzies
I'm actually not even sure how you spell the word but the knitting circle at work made sleeves for the new ecologically responsible paper coffee cups. Because the cups apparently are too hot to hold when filled with hot coffee, the circle decided everyone needed a cuzy. Reminds me of the crocheted coasters that someone made many years back.

Parament Flaw
It makes me crazy every time the paraments are changed in church because you frequently get the random thread that stands up (as seen in the center of the photo). I have to use great self control not to walk up and casually flick it back down.

On a Magic Carpet
Another painting, this one in the library. It looks a bit like Jesus is pulling an angel on a magic carpet. You may recall the one adorning the wall of the baptismal pond.

Snow Garbage
A huge pile of snow looking black and disgusting. But the good news is it is one of the last bunches of snow, at last. It may be another month melting but it's not in my way, and it is so attracting, adding to the landscape.

Boo Boo Bear
Boo Boo Bear was made by a friend years ago when the girls were little. He has a pocket in the back to hold ice cubes to put on boo boos. He had to be put to use again just the other day.

March Begins
Here we are at March 1st and my pots and living wreath are still buried in snow. At least the daylight is longer.

Lady of the Opera
I like this statue in the lobby of the Lyric Theater. I wonder what will become of her when the Performing Arts Center opens.
