Not exactly the traditional sock monkey.

Behind the Wall

The inside of the Lyric Theater. But did you know that behind that side wall lies a seating area that has been cannibalized for seat repairs.

Stating the Obvious

Amusing to find a bag in a cabinet carefully labeled. Inset shows what the note says. Really? You need to say this?

Hidden Face

The face once graced the north end of the church, as seen in the red square in 1923 photo but is now enclosed in the attic due to additions.

Uncle!

Can I just say that I am done with harsh winter. If I say uncle, can this stop?! I heard the average temperature for this date here is 45 degrees. What's wrong with this picture?

Problematic Pile

I can't seem to get a good photo of this mound of leaves but I am annoyed daily by it. It makes turning off Ward Parkway problematic because you can't make a tight turn. While it doesn't look like it, it's about 2 feet high. I thought it was a bunch of snow they plowed but now that things have melted, turns out it is a frozen mountain of leaves. Probably be there until spring rains move it.

Who Are These People?

Why do we still think we look like we did in college and then we see a photo and wonder who are those old people? Whatever. It's how you feel, not how you look. A reunion of college friends.

NFL Finale

In recognition of the Super Bowl, a display made from Pepsi products. I like to imagine the employees standing there with a diagram trying to set this up. Time to put the NFL to bed for the season.

So many choices of homemade pie and brownies at the Parsons Rotary Chili Day, and for only a buck.

Blanket of Snow

Yes, we are all weary of snow but this one was pretty. I tried to capture the huge flakes but wasn't successful.

Upside Down

I didn't know you could do this and I'm not sure why you would want to but look what you can do - turn everything on your monitor upside down. Beware ctrl/alt/(down arrow) or (up arrow) depending which way you are flipping.

Life Is Good

It's good to get a reminder, especially when stuck in traffic.

Smell of Spring

I would have opted for more color but the fragrance of the lilies is outstanding and makes me feel like I'm in a garden.

Whatever the groundhog says, the robins are here, telling us spring will come.
