I discovered a set of drawers hidden in the back wall of the narthex at work. Someone thought ahead to a time when you might need storage for pencils and pens, etc.

Three Generations

Hayden took a photo of the hands of my mother, myself and herself and gave it to me for Mother's Day. Three generations of hands. Pretty cool.

An Edible Garden

Someone is optimistic to plant this edible crop so close to the curb. Too many curb check possibilities.

A snapping turtle rescued by my brother-in-law while it grows large enough to survive on its own. Horatio is in my sister's backyard.

The Kansas City Ballet is celebrating it's 50th year. The crowd is at The Lyric in downtown Kansas City for a Sinatra interpretation as part of the spring program.

Colorful Ties

The church where I work is having a rummage sale. One of the volunteers took the time to carefully arrange the ties. Makes a colorful display but as she admits, one shopper pulls out a tie and it's all for naught.

Capturing a Moment a Day

At the beginning of the year, I read about someone who tried to take a photo, however mundane, each and every day for one year. I thought that sounded like a fascinating goal. So far, I have succeeded although some days I find it quite challenging because I am at work and have come home to darkness, and what is interesting to take a photo of in my house? But I have been attempting to find something that maybe is mundane but that I may not have previously photographed for that very reason. With inspiration from a friend, I have decided to post the daily photo.
